Your
first step is the private pilot license. There are differences between the FAA
minimums and what it will actually take to get your private pilot license. I
have listed the Pilot requirements below. I have broken it all down for you here

Private Pilot License
Requirements
1:The first requirement for the Private Pilot License (certificate) is that
you must be able to read and speak English.
2: You must be 17 years old. You must be 16 to solo an aircraft
so you can actually start your training at this age
3: You Must have a valid student pilot certificate and at least a
third class medical. Here is a list of FAA medical examiners
4: You must have 40 Hours total Flight Time
5: You must have 20 hours of flight instruction given
6 You must have 10 Hours solo Flight Time
